Optical fibre has much greater data capacity than copper, and can carry more data further. There are several types of cable available to suite your application, environment and bandwidth requirements.

OM1, 62.5/125µm, multi-mode

The cables can be directly terminated or fusion spliced with a range of different connectors (SC, LC, ST and FC). Our design engineers will advise on the best solution for you. Our installations are installed and tested in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines using Fluke DSP/DTX cable analysers. Our engineers are trained in accordance with the high standards outlined by Leviton and Excel enabling us to provide a fully compliant product and application warranty for 25 years.
